Beer contains a good number of calories and will often lead to people eating snacks during drinking. All of these calories enter the body and can begin to make someone gain weight, especially around their stomach area. This weight gain will give health problems on its own as well as potentially harm a person's self-image.

Heavy beer drinkers also have a higher blood pressure as well as dehydrate a body easily. These can lead to higher risk problems with long-term health. Intoxication will also come from drinking too many beers, which causes problems with accidents and judgment issues. Therefore, while drinking beer is healthy, it is only healthy in moderation.
