BassBrewing beer has a very long history in England, most of which includes English Ales. Known for their traditional, warm ales, the English have set the standard for what we know to be beer today. For the most part the British pubs sell a bitter ale or stouts and porters.

Breweries in England are usually tied to some pub, which serves only the beer made by that brewery. Larger breweries such as Whitbread, Guinness and Bass, each own and operate many of the pubs all over London.
